Unit 14 Launch Party
Thursday evening saw the launch of Unit 14, a new facility located in the heart of Midsomer Norton.
This bright, colourful and versatile community space is suitable for meetings, workshops, small performances, drop-ins, seminars and much more.
Councillor Lynda Robertson, Mayor of Midsomer Norton cut the ribbon to mark the official launch along side Community Trust manager, Alex Davis.
The space also includes kitchen facilities as well as speedy wifi and a range of furniture so the room can be tailored to suit various needs. Managed by the Midsomer Norton Community Trust, the space offers an alternative to the Town Hall which will be undergoing a renovation programme to restore its former Market Hall splendour.

The Unit 14 project has been funded from Bath & North East Somerset Council’s allocation of the European Union’s Welcome Back High Streets Fund (2021-22), the West of England Combined Authority’s Infrastructure Fund and Historic England’s Heritage Action Zone funding.
Unit 14 is just behind the High Street across from South Road car park. For more details about the Community Trust and to enquire about booking Unit 14, visit their website here.
