Ukraine Appeal
Midsomer Norton Town Council have been saddened by the terrible scenes we are witnessing in Ukraine. Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the events following the country’s invasion by Russia. The Town Hall windows are lit up in blue and yellow in support of the people of Ukraine.
We have been heartened to hear about local groups who are doing what they can to provide support for those directly affected by the ongoing conflict.
We will stay up to date with information from central Government about how we can continue to offer support, and update our website and social media when we can.
The Town Council have compiled details of how support can be offered locally and nationally by donating funding or items such as clothing, medication or food (all links to external sites open in a new window or tab).
- Disasters Emergency Committee
- The British Red Cross
- The UNHCR Refugee Agency
- Unicef
- Save the Children
- Global Giving
With all financial contributions online, it is worth making sure you know where your money is going first – double check the organisation is real and is being shared by a trustworthy source.
